Kelsey Asbille, a renowned American actress, has parents of diverse backgrounds. Her father, Dr. James Chow, is of Chinese descent, while her mother, Jean Chow, hails from Columbia, South Carolina. She is the eldest among her two younger siblings: Forrest, her brother, and Kiersten, her sister.
In 2010, Kelsey expressed her desire to enhance her Mandarin Chinese proficiency and read traditional Chinese characters as a tribute to her Chinese heritage through her father.
